Sometimes when Scott leaves me alone on Saturday while he's studying, I get bored and cut my hair. And when I say I cut my hair, I mean I cut my hair. By myself. It was quite liberating. Scott's response was, "I thought that's what six-year-olds do."
*In case you're worried, I did go to the salon afterward. I just didn't think I'd have the guts by the time I got there!

Obsessed with Disneyland
Yes, Scott and I are officially obsessed with Disneyland. We go every chance we can get. Last week we went twice. The new Cars Land is awesome!
Going on the Cars ride for the first time. It's super fun!
New Apartment
Actually, it's not really that new anymore. But we finally got it decorated! Come visit us--we have an extra room now. Here are some pictures.
Ecuador
Last month Scott and I got to go to Ecuador on a medical mission with my family. I had to beg to get all that time off work, and I was very lucky to get to go! We spent several days in clinic, where Scott played dentist and I played dental assistant, then had some adventures white water rafting and exploring the jungle.
Smile!
We had soup for lunch and dinner, no matter how hot and humid it was.
The dinosaur had teeth the kids could brush.
Extractions!
We went to the equator in Quito. They had sweet science experiments that proved all the myths you hear about the equator (like water going down the drain clockwise/counter-clockwise depending on what side you're on).
A pretty cathedral in Quito
Bug bites :/ I was also sick for a week after we got home.

Camping
Scott and I went camping last weekend and it was so fun! We decided to go at the last minute and basically just threw food in a cooler and a tent in the car and drove up the mountain. Luckily we were still allowed to have campfires within the campsite! Unluckily, we forgot chairs and a lighter (my Grandpa Longson would be embarrassed to call me his granddaughter), so we had to borrow one. At night we went on a hike to a waterfall, made dinner, and played card games. We had a great time!
The huge tent my grandparents gave us for our wedding. It's huge--it has two rooms!
Moving
Last month Scott and I moved into what is affectionately known in our ward as "Little Provo." There are several families from our ward (church) that live in the apartment complex. So far we have really liked it! Unfortunately, I only have pictures of the move and not the finished product.
I'm working on a couple of decorations, so when I finally finish them I will post pictures!

Missionaries and Anniversaries
Last weekend my brother Mark came home from his mission for our church. Yay! He served for two years in Mexico City. I was very proud of him, but also very excited for him to come home. I got really lucky: he flew through LAX on his way home! We got to talk for about an hour and he met Scott for the first time.
The next day was our first wedding anniversary, so we decided to stay in LA to celebrate. We went to the LA temple, which had really pretty flowers.
After that we headed up the Pacific Coast Highway to El Matador Beach. It was so beautiful!
We ended the night at The Cheesecake Factory in Santa Monica overlooking the ocean. It's been a great year! I am so lucky to have someone so positive and kind to be with every day.
We brought him In-N-Out and he was very excited
